FPCT Spotlight - November 8, 2010
Holly Pascuillo
What is the best live play you have ever seen?
Holly: One of the first Broadway plays I ever saw was Amadeus. I’m not sure I fully understood it at the time, but I did know that Ian McKellan’s performance was incredible, unlike anything I had ever seen.
Equally impressive was Mary Louise Parker’s performance in Proof—she is fearless in everything she does.
How are you alike and unlike your character in Table Manners?
Holly: Oh gosh. I hope that I am nothing like my character! Whereas humor and laughter are integral to my life, Sarah has no sense of humor whatsoever. In the interest of full disclosure, though, I think I am a bit of a control freak, just like Sarah.
Tell us about your life outside the theater?
Holly: I have been an English teacher in Howard County for the past 18 years, and I LOVE my job!
When you are not acting, what do you like to do?
Holly: I sit with friends and talk?
What is your favorite food?
Holly: Crabcakes—I’m from Baltimore, hon!
Name your top three movies of all time.
Holly: Four Weddings and a Funeral, Postcards from the Edge, On the Waterfront
What do you like about working with Steve?
Holly: Steve cares tremendously about the quality and the product. He is passionate about theater and stays informed not just by reading up on the latest productions but by attending them, as well.
